Last year, Label Innovation made company history as several employees took part in the Spartan Race. This July, LINC returned to Calabogie, Ontario to participate in the 2019 Spartan Challenge. This year’s race saw several employees returning to participate, along with some new faces. Our 2019 team included Edwin Perez, Paul Carusi, Chris Ferry, Matt Ferry, Rudy Witlox and Tracy Wilson.

“Even if I was the last person to finish, it wouldn’t matter,” says Edwin Perez, “What matters is that I made it!”

The Spartan Race is a series of obstacles of varying difficulty covering a distance ranging from 5km to half marathon distances. It is a unique event that tests physical and mental toughness. Obstacles include elements of water, mud, rope, barbed wire, wall and fire. Racers run, climb, and crawl across beautiful terrain while tackling unique and challenging obstacles that include tests of strength, balance, mental tenacity, and endurance.
