The Family Enterprise Xchange (FEX) provides support, knowledge and resources to those involved in family enterprise including both extended business families and the advisors that counsel them.

FEX recently celebrated its 4th annual Ottawa Family Enterprise of the Year Award Gala to celebrate family business in our community. The chapter Family Enterprise of the Year Award is given annually by FEX to recognize, celebrate, and promote the achievements of Canadian family businesses and the considerable contribution they make to both their local communities and our national economy. The Family Enterprise of the Year Award & Arnie Vered Honorary Dinner serves to recognize the vital role business families play in the health of our local economy and the well-being of our community. The Gala celebrated and promoted the achievements of Ottawa family businesses and the considerable contributions that they make.

During the evening, a number of local family businesses were recognized for their support and leadership in areas of education, health, and social services. Label Innovation president Kelly Youngdale had the privilege to attend this year’s event and show his support to family business here in Ottawa.
