The Miracle Marnie Foundation is excited to partner with the Hospital for Sick Children, in particular with Dr. Annie Huang and her team of researchers in the ETANTR/ETMR Tumour labs.  Dr. Huang and her team continue to work diligently on discovering a cure for rare infant tumours. The Miracle Marnie Foundation is supporting two initiatives that the team at Sick Kids continues to research;

  1. The Rare Brain Tumour Consortium (a data bank), which is the only one of its kind in the world. This is also the data in which Marnie’s protocol treatment was developed.
  2. The development of a tool to scan Spinal and Brain fluid (CSF) to aid in identifying tumours in the body before redevelopment in the brain. Marnie’s CSF fluid continued to be collected up to last month.

Both of these initiatives are estimated to cost $150,000 per year. Label Innovation president Kelly Youngdale is a board member for the Miracle Marnie Foundation and has been actively involved in helping the foundation.
