The Production Team Member, under the direction of the Production Supervisor, will primarily be responsible to ensure compliance with company policies and standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete and on-time delivery. This position will ensure high standards of workmanship and efficiency. This role will also ensure outputs meet production schedules, safety and quality standards, as well as customer needs.

- Detect equipment malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjust machine, controls, or control media within capabilities as required to ensure quality of production
- Ensure proper use of required personal protective equipment at all times
- Follow manufacturing and processing procedures, set machine or equipment controls, carry out production and inspection processes
- Mark, record, and report defective products
- Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on all equipment and tools
- Maintain a clean working area free from dirt and debris between tasks and at end of day
- Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity, product quality, and safety
- Set up, operate and maintain a variety of machine tools including computer numerically controlled (CNC) tools to perform precision, non-repetitive machining operations such as sawing, turning, milling, boring, planning, drilling, and precision grinding
- Bolt, screw, clip, weld, solder, or otherwise fasten parts and components together using hand and power tools and equipment
- Cut, drill, sand, or plane materials for snug fit
- Grind, scrape, sand, or polish surfaces using abrasive tools or machines
- Lubricate, clean, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, and tools
- Closely monitor machines for signs of problems while ensuring output is meeting set specifications
- Communicate with supervisor, engineers, production control, quality, and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues
- Operate and tend automated assembling equipment such as robotic and fixed automation equipment
- Position and install parts, subassemblies, and accessories using hand tools, power tools, and other aids like overhead hoists
- Remove parts or completed products from conveyors and manually pack goods into bags, boxes, or other containers
