| Colour Matching | | | | The duplication of a given colour sample. | | |

| Colour Process | | | | Halftone colour printing created by the colour separation process whereby a piece of artwork is broken down to the primary colours to produce individual halftones and these are recombined at the press to produce the complete range of colours of the original. | | |

| Comprehensive Layout, Comp | | | A mock-up of a printed piece showing all type and pictures in rough form but in the right size and in the correction position. Used for evaluating a design before final type and artwork are produced. | | |

| Core | | | A tube on which a roll of paper, film or foil is wound. | | |
|
|
| Coupon stock | | | A material constructed of different layers of which one has dry release properties. The top layer of the stock can be easily removed and carries no adhesive. See an example in our Solution Showcase. | | |

| Crop Marks | | | Printed marks that indicate where an image is to be trimmed. | | |
|
|
| Cropping | | | Trimming off unwanted areas of an illustration, photo or other artwork. | | |

| Curl | | | In paper, distortion of the unrestrained sheet due to differences in structure or coatings from one side to the other. The curl side is the concave side of the sheet.
