- Work independently
- Identify new prospects and opportunities
- Develop and maintain key relationships within the client organization
- Identify approaches that maximize product value to the customer
- Sell the advantages of the approach at a conceptual as well as more detailed technical level
- Prepare and submit formal proposals
- Work closely with Customer Service Representatives to ensure accurate, up-to-date information for orders, quotes and other sales activities
- Work with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Prepare weekly reporting of sales activity and forecasts
- Attend sales meetings, training, trade shows
