Team of Directors

Kelly Youngdale

President

Responsible for the overall direction of LINC, Kelly has seen many changes since starting in 1993. From an initial starting position in Sales, to Sales and Marketing Director in 1999, to becoming president in 2009, he has seen the company grow from 4 people to what it is today. Kelly is active in a number of local organizations that promote a better community. He attended the University of Western Ontario and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in Economics in 1993. Kelly has two grown children and lives in Ottawa. He enjoys woodworking, time in the outdoors, hanging out with his kids and is definitely a car buff.

Paul Carusi

Director, Sales & Marketing

Paul heads up our Sales and Marketing team. He brings many years of Sales, Marketing and Management experience to LINC. His experience in running successful sales and marketing teams includes management roles within Fortune 500 and international companies. Paul moved to Canada from Australia to head up and run the Canadian and U.S. divisions of a globally based advertising company. His professional background extends across the IT, Communications, Advertising and Technology sectors. Paul is married with 3 children and lives in Ottawa. Outside of LINC, he enjoys cycling, golf, going to the gym and spending time with family.

Daryl Newman

Director, Technical Operations

Daryl is responsible for coordinating with our sales team and clients to ensure technical requirements are understood and accommodated. He is instrumental in working with our production team to maximize efficiencies in the manufacturing process and ensure quality meets or exceeds requirements. Daryl brings over 21 years of manufacturing experience in various positions with national and international companies, including production manager, manufacturing manager and maintenance manager. He is a graduate of Mount Allison University, with a Bachelor of Science degree and a Certificate in Engineering. Daryl brings a team approach philosophy to our workplace. He enjoys coaching hockey, cabinet making, playing golf and traveling.

Joel MacCaull

Director, Production & Project Management

Joel is responsible for the overall production at Label Innovation. Included within the production area are Estimation, Research & Development, Purchasing, and Shipping & Receiving. Joel came to us in 2010 after 18 years in positions of increasing responsibility within the Automotive Glass division of PPG Industries. His last position before joining Label Innovation was Engineering Manager at the Hawkesbury lamination plant. An Industrial Engineer and Six Sigma Black Belt, Joel has 25 years of experience developing processes to MIL (military), TS (automotive), and ISO standards. Outside of work, Joel enjoys spending time with his family at the cottage in Prince Edward Island, and skating on the Rideau Canal in winter.

Leeanne Harvey

Director, Human Resources

Leeanne is a designated Human Resource Professional with 20 years experience in several sectors across Canada and the Globe which included medical education, oil & gas, mining and manufacturing.  As a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRP, CHRL), she has been responsible for the HR strategy and programs in support of business goals as a Director and Chief Human Resources Officer.  With special interest in organizational effectiveness and workforce development Leeanne has been able to drive organizations people agenda while shaping a culture of continuous learning, innovation and agility. A graduate of SAIT and Carleton University in Business Administration, Contract Law and Human Resources. Away from work Leeanne enjoys time with family and friends, sports and travel.

Rudy Witlox

Director, Finance

As Director of Finance at Label Innovation, Rudy comes to us with a CPA-CGA and a MBA from the University of Illinois. Prior to joining LINC, Rudy was the Director of Finance for Roof Building Service, CFO for Pacific Safety Products and held operation roles at Cooper Bussmann, Stanley Tools and GE. Rudy brings a background in both operations and finance, focusing on manufacturing, driving productivity and profitability through his finance acumen, and use of tools like Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing. Away from work, Rudy is an enthusiastic skier and avid snow boarder, also enjoying time spent with golf and curling. Rudy also sits on the Board at the Yves Landry Foundation, which focuses on supporting technological education and skills training for Canadian manufacturers.
